Hollow Knight: Silksong

Hollow Knight: Silksong has consumed a lot of my hours lately, and I already consider it one of my favorite games of all time. It’s much bigger than the original Hollow Knight, with more explicit quests and guidance in exploring the world. The protagonist Hornet has a voice of her own, and her interactions with characters make the lore more approachable.
Bosses
Here are some of my favorite bosses so far. I haven't beaten the game yet, so there are certainly more bosses yet to encounter.
Fourth Chorus

This massive boss takes up the entire screen, and threatens to destroy the stage with its powerful attacks. It’s a relatively early boss though, so its moves are telegraphed well and easy to dodge. I did die a few times to it!
Cogwork Dancers

Fighting the Cogwork Dancers was a great challenge at timing and split attention. You have to track both dancers at once, and pay attention to the direction they’ll be moving next. Overall I didn't die much in this fight, but I did appreciate the music, composed by Christopher Larkin, returning from the original Hollow Knight.
Groal the Great

Groal is such a goofy boss! I love his design and how he almost laughs as he jumps in and out of the lake. Fighting him was almost a comic relief after the slog through the Bilewater zone.
I’ve died the most to Groal by far. He’s hard to approach, with a swallowing attack that does massive damage if he swallows you, even though you can get a few hits in. After losing a few times, I adjusted my build to include more ranged attacks: the boomerang, darts, and most importantly, the bombs. It seems like Groal is weak to the bombs and will stagger if you throw the bomb during his swallowing attack. Utilizing the boomerang at the right range to hit multiple times, he fell quickly on my next attempt.
